Semarang, 4 February 2026 — The Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro, organized the Reputable Journal Publication Training Series 1 with the theme “Designing a Publishable Paper.” The event was conducted online through the Zoom Meeting platform and was attended by students and members of the academic community who are interested in improving the quality of their scientific publications.
The training featured Prof. Dr. Dwi Ratmono, S.E., Akt., M.Si., Head of the Professional Accounting Education Program (PPAk) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro, and a researcher with extensive experience in publishing scientific works in reputable journals. In his presentation, Prof. Dwi Ratmono explained various important strategies for designing scientific articles with strong potential to be published in reputable journals, both national and international.
The materials presented covered several key aspects, including selecting research topics that are relevant and provide academic contributions, structuring a systematic scientific article framework, and strategies to improve the quality of manuscripts to meet the standards required by reputable journals. In addition, participants were introduced to the peer review process, how to select appropriate journals, and tips for aligning manuscripts with the scope and guidelines of the targeted journals.
The training session was conducted interactively, featuring discussion and question-and-answer sessions that allowed participants to explore further insights into effective publication strategies. Participants showed great enthusiasm, as reflected in the numerous questions raised regarding common challenges encountered in writing and submitting articles to academic journals.
Through the Reputable Journal Publication Training Series 1, participants are expected to gain better insights and skills in designing high-quality scientific papers with strong potential for publication in reputable journals. This activity also reflects the commitment of the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro, to continuously encourage the improvement of research quality and scientific publications within the academic community.
